Jacob’s Ladder For Youth was sparked by the incredible passion of its founder, Terence L. Smith! This dynamic program is tailored for boys ages 9 to17, with exciting counseling services available for younger kids and girls too! Jacob’s Ladder is all about stepping in at the perfect moment during these crucial years. Terence recognized the need for a cutting-edge treatment that truly connects with children, and that's when the journey to assemble a fantastic team began!

Our mission is to provide mental health services, mentorship, and life coaching to allow each individual the most appropriate level of care
in a safe emotional space.
Vision
Jacob’s Ladder 4 Youth (JL4Y) is a Missouri youth focused 501c3 non-for-profit. We serve young adolescent and pre-adolescent men, ages 9 to 17, in need of residential placement, shelter and a safe place to deal with mental illness and behavior management.
JL4Y provides services supporting solutions to mental health, including behavior management, counseling, recreational therapy and mentoring.
